Burnt Scallops


Cook 4 cloves garlic in Olive oil in a heavy frypan until well browned.
Turn the heat to high till it's smoking.  Put 1Kg Scallops in the pan and burn them lightly.
Turn the heat down to medium, pour in 1/2 cup Mirin rice wine and 1/2 cup cream cheese stirring well.  Cover and simmer for a few minutes only.  Keep stirring.

Serve on Tagliatelli or other pasta.
